who is naa gbewaa?

Naa Gbewaa

Hello, it’s Gorden Konzabre here again. I’m very glad you made your way to this blog. Today,

I would be answering the questions

1. Who is Naa Gbewa

2. Who are the sons of Naa Gbewa

3. Were is the shrine of Naa Gbewa located?

*Who is Naa Gbewaa *

Naa Gbewa, sometimes referred to as Nedega or Kulu Gbagha, is regarded as the founding father of the Dagbon Kingdom, which is located in what is now northern Ghana. Several states are attributed with being founded by his sons and daughter.

*Who are the sons of Naa Gbewaa *

According to history, Naa Gbewaa had a daughter and three boys.

However, the children got into a brawl over who should rule after Gbewa's death. Tohagu, Sitobo, and Zerile were the Gbewa children that were leading this envy and animosity among themselves.

Following the altercation, everyone left their current residence and moved to a new location. As a result, Tohagu traveled to Mamprugu and discovered the Mamprugu kingdom, Sitobu moved a little distance away and discovered the Dagbon kingdom, and Zerile traveled to Bimbila and discovered the Nanumba kingdom.

Later, the sons rose to power and ruled the kingdoms of Mamprusi, Nanumba, and the Dagbon. On the other side, the daughter departed with a Moshie hunter, whom she subsequently married. Through the Pusiga Naba (chief), the three sons of Naa Gbewaa continue to maintain a connection to their forefathers.

*NAA GBEWA SHRINE *

Where is Naa Gbewa shrine located?

The distance between the regional seat Bolga and Pusiga, where the shrine is located, is around 91 kilometers. The Pusidem are the locals of Pusiga. Naa Gbewaa, who is regarded as their grandfather, is said to have vanished at a location at the shrine rather than dying and not having been a king. It's interesting that everyone needs to be here to view this mystery. I might not disclose what was left behind after his disappearance until you go there and witness it for yourself.
